Michael Steele: Loves Puppies (Hates Poor People)

Michael Steele is a the very conservative candidate running for Senate in MD under the repugnican banner. He has a new ad up. It's the funniest one I have seen this cycle. It uses a minimalist design and has steele talking about how we should expect grainy washington attack ads and how they'll say he hates puppies and even worse things. He then says he wants lobbying reform and a stop to last minute funding additions. Lastly he has a puppy in his arms and says he approved the message.

it is excellent work and hopes to be a preemptive attack on negative ads by cardin (the D).
If i were Cardin I'd run an ad that says he agrees with Steele's proposals and that they agree on some things but that they disagree on important things. Then he'd name some unpopular positions Steele has taken like his belief in criminalizing abortion. Then Cardin can say, most marlanders don't agree with you and neither do i. no grainy ads needed just the truth.
