Not Just Demographically Historic, Biologically Historic

I was under the impression that Obama's candidacy was largely historic for demographic reasons: first post-baby boom candidate, first multi-racial candidate, etc. It turns out that (according to ABC's Terry Moran) Obama's candidacy is biologically historic as well.
